Speaking at a meeting of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) of Turkey in Ankara, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called the law «On the National Character of the State of Israel» yet another proof of the Israeli policy of Zionism, fascism and chauvinism.
According to Erdogan, there is no difference between Hitler’s obsession with the Aryan race and the policy of Israel, which refuses to recognize the historical rights of the Palestinians.
«The spirit of Hitler, which led the world to a great catastrophe, has found its resurgence among some of Israel’s leaders,» – the Turkish president said this as quoted by Anadolu news agency.
Erdogan also called on Islamic and Christian countries, the media, organizations defending democracy and freedom, to unite efforts against the policy of Israel.
