The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine have prepared a draft law on criminal responsibility for smuggling at the border and assistance to it, and is ready to hold consultations with the Verkhovna Rada on a bill.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, the Government Portal reports.
«We have prepared a draft law on criminal responsibility. We will hold consultations with the parliament in order to improve the document and make a decision. Our plan and interaction will gain momentum,» – the PM said.
Groysman expressed hope that the State Fiscal Service would not stop the process of establishing order at the border within its authority.
«They (customs officers) are now at the forefront of our struggle and will do their job qualitatively and professionally, not stopping their fulfillment of the tasks against shadow economy,» – the Prime Minister stressed.
As «The Journalist» reported, Parliament will introduce mine action bill in Ukraine.
