An explosion occurred in the electric smelting furnace in the city of Dnipro. As a result of the explosion, the melting furnace and the metal bunker above it were destroyed. This was reported by the press service of the State Service for Emergency Situations in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
The accident happened on the Kursantskaya St., Samara district (Dnipro). Rescue team pulled out two people, which were fallen under the bricks rubble.
«As a result of the explosion, one person was killed and another one was hospitalized to the 2nd city hospital in serious condition, but, unfortunately he passed away due to injuries», – the report said.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, a grenade exploded in Lviv: man died and woman is injured.
