About five thousand people participate in the protest action under the building of the Verkhovna Rada on the Grushevsky street. Protesters lit smoke bombs which caused the Constitution square was tightened with thick smoke. But, in general, the situation remains calm, 112.Ukraine news agency reports.
The situation stays calm and stable, there are no violations of public order and no clashes. Nina Yuzhanina, People’s Deputy, came out to the protesters. Law enforcement officers do not take any actions against protesters.
Under the building of the Verkhovna Rada protesting members of the «AvtoYevroSyla» organization, and under the government protesting employees of PJSC «DneprAzot». In general, there are up to 5 thousand protesters in the center of the capital.
«So far everything is calm. We communicate with the protesters, with their organizators. There are no provocations, skirmishes or casualties so far,» – the law enforcement representative said.
It should be noted that the protesters demand that the Cabinet of Ministers cancel the decision, which allows the police to check cars with foreign license plates and apply sanctions according to the customs law.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, drivers of cars with EU license plates blocked Kyiv city center.
