One of the grandchildren of the General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, Leonid Brezhnev died in annexed Crimea at the age of 57 years. About this informs a friend of the deceased on his Facebook page.

«Terrible news from the Crimea – my friend and comrade Andriy Brezhnev has left us. There were so many plans, so much experience. It was an honor for me to know him», the message says.

In the media there was information that the cause of the death of a man was a heart attack.
Let’s note, about Andriy Brezhnev from 2004 to 2014 was a member of the Communist Party. In addition, the man ran for the governors of the Sverdlovsk and Tula oblasts, and claimed the post of deputy mayor of Moscow.
