Out of seven-kilometer cave Tham Luang (Kingdom of Thailand) were rescued last two people – a schoolboy and assistant coach, Reuters reported.
Rescuers successfully evacuated the entire group of 13 people, who spent 18 days in the cave.
The third (and last) phase of the high-risk rescue operation was carried out successfully. Five people were evacuated from the cave. Previously, it was possible to get no more than four children per day.
All members of the group will be sent to the hospital and temporarily kept in isolation to rule out the risk of infection. Two of the boys, aged 14 to 16 years, had suspected lung infections.
Note that the boys were able to see their parents through a glass window. Children are temporarily limited to a diet, but at their request are allowed some chocolate bread for breakfast. Children will spend at the hospital at least the next week.
Recall that on June 23 The «Wild Boars» school soccer team aged between 11-16 years and their coach became trapped in the cave complex Tham Luang because rainy season downpour flooded the tunnels. British divers found them only nine days later: all this time the group was left without food.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, rescuer died, delivering oxygen to the flooded cave in Thailand.
