Ukraine and Serbia signed a document that should improve the effectiveness of the fight against corruption and deal with the exchange of data between the customs authorities of both countries.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a joint press conference with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in Belgrade on July 3rd.

«Very important and the second document that was signed. Its goal is to effectively combat corruption, so as not to allow those who are not at hand to evade taxes – both in Ukraine and in Serbia. This is also the document that Ukraine must sign with all major trading partners. And I think that this process will be continued», Ukrainian president said.

At the same time, Poroshenko noted the increase in trade with Serbia in the first quarter of this year by 34%.

As the «Journalist» reported, Ukrainians received a 90-day visa-free stay in Serbia.
