The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted Law No. 6027-d on resuming lending. The decision was made by 239 votes of people’s deputies.
Changes in the legislation should help access of business entities and individuals to the use of bank loans. It is supposed to protect the rights of the mortgage lender. It is noted that the document legally protects the guarantee institution.
In addition, financial institutions will have the opportunity to obtain information important for credit relations about the borrower. It becomes impossible to alienate the subject of the mortgage without the consent of the creditor bank. At the same time, the risks of evasion from credit obligations under inheritance of the borrower’s property are reduced.
Earlier, the «Journalist» reported that the new head of the Ministry of Finance hopes that Ukraine will receive a loan from the IMF in the fall.
