Groysman: result of the introduction of medical reform will be seen in 2-3 years

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman predicts the result of implementing health care reform in 2-3 years, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reported.

Groysman stressed that the head of the Ministry of Health Ulyana Suprun is a person capable of breaking the schemes that existed for decades in the medical field.

«Medicine has not known changes since the last century. She was driven to destruction. Uliana Suprun started reform to change this. She is a volunteer who came here to work. She is not an easy character, but she is capable of breaking the schemes that have formed in this area», the prime minister said.
«Now we are buying medecines that are prepared in advance for Ukraine. This is world practice. Now everything is systematized. For example, now for the first time in 7 years Ukraine is fully provided with vaccines, which are necessary for immunization in accordance with the vaccination schedule», the head of government added.
Groysman noted that procurement takes place centrally, through international tenders, which cannot be combined.

«To try to steal something there, you have to be insane», Groysman said.
As the «Journalist» reported, Groysman requires all hospitals to publish data on the availability of medicines.
