Head of Ukrgidrometcentre Mykola Kulbida said that over the past 25 years the average temperature in July has increased by more than 2 degrees.
«It’s not just a lot, it’s awful! – Kulbid is convinced. – It is this tendency of temperature increase that persists and continues. Therefore, this July cannot be different».
Meteorologist told about the maximum temperatures in the coming month, writes Segodnya.
«In the southern, central and eastern regions of Ukraine, with almost 100% probability, the air temperature will reach 35-39 degrees above C. In the western and northern regions – a few degrees less, but still, July will be hot», – says Kulbida.
The weatherman also said that precipitation will not be a frequent.
«They are expected occasionally, of a torrential nature. But their efficiency will be minimal, because moisture will not have time to replenish the soil as it is necessary under such conditions. With such temperatures moisture will quickly evaporate», Kulbida specified.
As reported by the «Journalist», 204 settlements were de-energized caused by bad weather. The houses and trees were damaged near Luhansk.
