The Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on the settlement of the situation in Donbas following talks in Minsk has announced about new agreements on a ceasefire starting from July 1 in connection with the harvesting season.

This was reported by the Ukrainian envoy to the TCG, ex-President Leonid Kuchma’s press secretary Darka Olifer on Facebook.

It is said that «in order to make the ceasefire really work, it is necessary to fulfill the block of security provisions of the Minsk agreements».

«The Ukrainian side believes it should be about to ensure a full, permanent and comprehensive cessation of the use of weapons by monitoring and verifying the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission and providing security guarantees, primarily by the Russian Federation», – Olifer added.

As «The Journalist» reported, three Ukrainian soldiers were killed, three more were wounded in Donbas.
