The European Union has provided Ukraine with € 13 billion financial aid. This is the largest package of support for countries outside the EU, which was ever provided.
The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said this during her visit to Copenhagen (Denmark), UNIAN reported.
«Since 2014, the European Union has invested in Ukraine more than in any country in the world (which are not part of the EU – ed.). We made the largest support package in our history – it’s more than € 13 billion», – Mogherini said.
The EU High Representative noted that the Ukraine -EU Association Agreement is the most ambitious agreement that the EU has ever signed with the partner country.
As «The Journalist» reported, the European Council will support Ukraine with € 1 billion loan.
