In Odessa, the chairman of the Odessa Oblast State Administration Maxym Stepanov and the EU Ambassador to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli agreed to expand cooperation in supporting small and medium-sized businesses, the press service of administration.
In particular, it was stated that the parties discussed plans to expand cooperation between the Odessa Oblast and the EU countries in the framework of implementing programs to support small and medium-sized businesses.
«We are mobilizing all our instruments in order to provide maximum support in the region, in support of the rule of law. We support fully the process of decentralization and community unification. We are trying to increase and expand the number of programs to exchange experience», Mingarelli said.
The ambassador specified that these are programs aimed at the educational sector, the culture sector for students, scientists. Special attention is paid to the development of cultural projects in the region.
According to Stepanov, the European Union is the main external partner for the Odessa region.
As the «Journalist» reported, in the European Union they declared that populists and oligarchs interfere with the implementation of the Association Agreement with Ukraine.
