President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his reelection as president of Turkey.
The Head of the Ukrainian State wrote this on his Twitter.
«I congratulate Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his reelection as president of Turkey. I am sure that people’s trust and new powers of authority will open additional ways for the further development of Turkey and the well-being of the Turkish people», – Poroshenko stressed.
The President also confirmed that Ukraine intended to continue developing the Ukrainian-Turkish strategic partnership.
As «The Journalist» reported, Erdogan won in the early presidential elections.
