The enterprise with the 80-year history stopped its work due to the increase in gas prices. This was announced by the chairman of the board of «DneprAzot» Sergei Sidorov on his Facebook page.
«With great sorrow in my heart I inform you all that since June 15, 2018 the enterprise of PJSC «DNEPRAZOT» is compelled to enter into an idle time for an indefinite period. The enterprise, which for 8 decades created a name for itself, was and is a reliable partner in business, the main supplier of mineral fertilizers to Ukrainian farmers and the main producer of disinfectants for drinking water; the enterprise, which has always been support and support of the city and provided stable income for workers and their families, has been completely stopped», the message says.
It is noted that such a decision was made in connection with the high price of gas for industrial consumers.
Also note that the order to stop the enterprise has already been signed. More than 4,000 people, employees of DniproAzot, are transferred to two thirds of salary. The beginning of the heating season is also under threat – a whole district of Kamianske depends from the «nitrogen» of local Thermal power station.
