The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine demands to pay compensation for the damage caused by Russia in connection with the support and financing of terrorism in the Donbas and violation of the rights of Ukrainian citizens, both in the occupied Crimea and in the east of Ukraine.
As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated regarding to the submission of the relevant memorandum to the UN International Court, the Russian Federation, acceding to the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism, has undertaken not to finance terrorism, but in Ukraine she does the opposite.
Diplomats stressed that illegal armed groups in Donbas also carry out terrible acts of terrorism against civilians, using weapons from the Russian Federation.
Therefore, in its memorandum, Ukraine demands Russia immediately cease violating the provisions of international convention on suppression of the financing of terrorism and the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination and paid to Ukraine financial compensation for damage caused to the Ukrainian people.
