Gazprom assets were freezed by the request of Ukraine’s Naftogaz

A Dutch court had approved petition to arrest six Gazprom subsidiaries. This is reported by «delo.ua».
The source reports that Naftogaz of Ukraine demands to freeze the assets of the Russian monopolist in the Netherlands, to ensure the right of Naftogaz to receive $ 2.6 billion from Gazprom.

«Naftogaz will use all legitimate measures and tools available to us to enforce the decision and fully recover the amount awarded from Gazprom. Unfortunately, the company is not acting in good faith, in respect neither of the arbitration awards, nor with the orders of European courts in other jurisdictions», – Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolyev said.

In turn, the Dutch court granted the petition of Naftogaz of Ukraine to arrest the shares of the Russian gas monopolist Gazprom in its Dutch subsidiaries.
