The body of a young woman with traces of violent death was found the next morning after the murder, on May 30, in her apartment in one of the sleeping areas of the city. According to the relatives of the murdered girl, who was six months pregnant, death came from strangulation, – reported on the website of local police.
As it was established, the tool for murder was the strap from the bag. Neighbors of the victim reported that on the eve of of the murder, in midnight, screams were heard in her apartment, but nobody called the police.
On suspicion of a cold-blooded murder, a civil husband of the deceased was detained, who was found the next day barefoot in the center of the city. A man molested to the random passers-by and they called the police because of his inadequate actions.
On Friday, June 1, after the incident, a pre-trial hearing took place. The detainee was informed of suspicion and elected a measure of restraint for 60 days in jail.
Meanwhile, the lawyer of the accused denies the guilt of his client, referring to his inadequate state.
Note that the detained 31-year-old citizen of Khmelnytskyi was drug addicted, and at the time of the murder, he may have been under the influence of drugs.
Also note that before the incident, the residents of the house twice called the police at the address of the murdered woman. The law enforcers drafted a protocol on the fact of domestic violence, but the deceased in both cases refused to write a statement against her spouse.
