Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy said in a joint with PM Volodymyr Groysman, that he would do everything possible for Parliament to approved law on the Supreme Anticorruption Court on June 7, taking into consideration the Venice Commission’s recommendations.

«Ukrainian society expects justice from the supreme power of the country, and our duty – me as the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and the Prime Minister of Ukraine, – to do everything possible needs to be done for decision to get passed on Thursday (June 7 – ed.), taking into consideration the Venice Commission’s recommendations. I will do everything possible to make the decision on court in accordance with the expectations of the Ukrainian society», – Parubiy said.

At the same time, he noted that until Anti-Corruption Court «will not put several high-ranking officials in charge of corruption», it will be difficult for Ukrainian society to hope for a full-scale fight against corruption.

Recall that Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said that he would resign if an anti-corruption court will not be created.
