Turchynov: Ukraine needs protection from the hybrid aggressions and cyber attacks

An effective system against cyberattacks and the development of cybersecurity to prevent hybrid aggression are the key issues for national consolidation and international cooperation.

This was reported in the press service National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, citing the Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov.

According to him, the effective system against cyberattacks, cybercrime, cyberterrorism, active development of the state cyber defense contour and scaling the country’s entire critical infrastructure, the development of cybersecurity to prevent hybrid aggression are amongst the most important key issues for national consolidation and international cooperation.

Oleksandr Turchynov stated, that the main priority now is the practical implementation of the law of Ukraine on "key principles of ensuring cyber security of Ukraine", which has recently entered into force.
