Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic Jaroslava Němcová announced a program to accelerate the employment procedures for Ukrainians in the country. This was reported by Radio Praha.
Němcová, while visiting the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine in Lviv, stated that the Czech Republic is interested in labor cadres from Ukraine.
«Czech employees simply can’t be found on the labour market and that’s why we really need to recruit workers from abroad. We have primarily turned towards Ukraine because the country is culturally and traditionally close to us. It is a country which has something to offer and the workers there really want to work», – the message stated.
Today, around 70,000 Ukrainians working in the Czech Republic. The annual quota of Ukrainian workers coming to the Czech Republic will be boosted to 19,600.
As «The Journalist» reported, 85% Ukrainians who apply for a work permit in Poland, received a positive response.
