Representatives of Argentina, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Chile, and the United States stated they would not recognize the result of Venezuela’s presidential election. This was reported by Reuters.

«Taking into account the lack of legitimacy of the electoral process, we do not recognize the results of the Sunday elections, which excluded the participation of some political actors», – said Argentina’s Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie.

Recall that incumbent President Nicolas Maduro won presidential elections in Venezuela. The opposition said that turnout at the election was inflated, claiming the real participation was at nearer 30 percent.
As «The Journalist» reported that Nicolas Maduro was re-elected for a second term.
