Stradivarius violin was revealed on the Ukrainian border

In the Sumy region, employees of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine together with employees of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) stopped the attempt to export the Stradivarius violin from the country. This was reported by the press service of the SFS.
During the checking of a car, driven by citizen of Moldova, who was traveling to the the Russian Federation, law enforcement found historical and cultural values.
«A violin labeled «Antonius Stradivarius faciebat anno 1719», a telephone labeled «Osterreichische Telefon – Fabrik A.G. vorm. J. Berliner Wein, XIII / 1», an icon of St. Spyridon, two books with the inscription «Giannetto» 1870 and «Pompei as it was and it is by Bagot Molesworth MA» in 1904, in the middle of last one were 23 banknotes issued until 1960, also a postage stamp issued in 1973», – the report said.
All identified items were seized in accordance with the established procedure for carrying out the necessary examinations.
Each violin made by the Italian crafter of string instruments Antonio Stradivari is unique. Many of them have their own names and history.
As «The Journalist» earlier reported, Albert Einstein’s violin were sell for over $500,000.
