The press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation
The press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation reported, that the practical training of the crews of Mi-24 helicopters was carried out near the demarcation line in Donbas. The corresponding photos press center published on Facebook.
Within the framework of the Joint Force Operation, exercises to guide the Mi-24 crews to attack ground targets were conducted.
The purpose of practical actions was to train and to maintenance the skills of combat helicopters crews to attack ground targets; to organize the interaction of the aviation with combined-arms divisions while performing joint fire missions.
According to the chief of the JFO’s army aviation, in the situation of an aggravation on the contact line, the Air Forces «are ready to perform the tasks for the intended purpose».
The attention of the flight crew is focused on fulfilling the combat missions in conditions of counteraction of enemy air defenses, using peacekeeping experience, gained by pilots in Africa and during the ATO in 2014.
As «The Journalist» reported, changing of ATO on the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas will not affect the negotiations in Minsk.
