Canadian Government condemns opening of Kerch Strait Bridge in Crimea

Chrystia Freeland, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, stated that the Canadian Government condemns the construction of the Kerch Strait Bridge, – informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Canada.
It aims to harden Russia’s unlawful hold on the peninsula and to forcibly isolate it from the rest of Ukraine, represents another violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity by the Russian Federation, – the message said.

«Canada condemns the construction and partial opening today of the Kerch Strait Bridge. We call on the Russian Federation to cease its violations of this fundamental tenet of the rules-based international order», – Chrystia Freeland stated.

As «The Journalist» earlier reported, EU condemned the construction of the Kerch Bridge.
