A new type of transport and a test site for it will be built in Dnipro. This was posted by Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan on Facebook.
Omelyan said that the place for Hyperloop construction site had already been selected in the city.
First of all, efforts are focused on the preparation of scientific assessment and technical documentation.
«We have good contacts with «Virgin Hyperloop One» and «DP World» companies, which finances the ‘freight’ direction of this project. Now we are waiting for a technical and scientific justification from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine», – Omelyan said.
According to the Minister, different Ukrainian enterprises could become the key suppliers for the construction of a new type of transport
The construction of a test site planned within the framework of the development of the «INNOVATION FORPOST» industrial park – a project implemented by the Dnipro Development Agency.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, Ukraine appeared in a list of the countries with the highest rates of development of modern and prospective mode of transport.
