United States Special Representative in Ukraine Kurt Volker had his mandate continued and even expanded.

This was reported by the VOA Ukrainian Service chief Myroslava Gongadze.

«According to sources, Kurt Volker had his mandate continued and expanded. He will have not only the power to deal the situation in Donbas, but he will have broad authority in Ukraine as such», – said Myroslava Gongadze, «Krym.Realii» reported.

Before the current changes, Volker worked for a year on a voluntary basis.

As «The Journalist» reported, US: sanctions against Russia will continue, until Russia stops interfering in the Ukraine’s internal affairs.
