German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed creation of UN peacekeeping mission in Donbass.
This was announced by Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov, reported UNIAN.
«The leaders of the two states discussed the situation in Ukraine and the US’ withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal during a phone conversation today, May 11», – Dmitry Peskov reported.
«They also touched the problems related to the possible deployment of a UN force to protect OSCE observers», – underlined press secretary.
As «The Journalist» reported, the number of the static checkpoints in Donbass will be reequipped and additional patrols will be created.
