Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Administration Ihor Rainin stated, that Ukraine is fully prepared to host the final matches of the women’s and men’s Champions League in Kyiv. This is reported by the press service of The Presidential Administration.
Rainin noted that «this year’s event will be held, due to the coordinated efforts of various bodies and with the full support of the President of Ukraine».
The Head of Administration reminded, that on the initiative of Poroshenko and with the support of the Football Federation of Ukraine, our country was given the right to host the final matches of the UEFA Champions League.
The UEFA Women’ s Champions League final between Germany’s Wolfsburg and France’s Lyon will take place at the Dynamo stadium in the Ukrainian capital in May 24.
On May 26, the Olympic stadium in Kiev will host the 2018 UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool at the NSC Olimpiyskiy.
As «The Journalist» reported, UEFA does not sell the right for broadcasting the Champions League to Ukraine.
