Yesterday, March 28, NATO Allies agreed to extend the mandate of Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg by a further two years, until 30 September 2022. This is reported on the official NATO website.
Allies supported Secretary General’s work to adapt and modernize NATO.
“Honoured by the decision by the NATO Allies to extend my term as Secretary General until 30 September 2022. Together, we will continue to adapt and modernize our Alliance in order to ensure its conformity to the future,” wrote Stoltenberg on his Twitter.
