NASA said that India’s successful anti-satellite tests, pose danger to the security of the International Space Station (ISS). This was stated by the head of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Jim Bridenstine.

He said that India’s destruction of one of its satellites using an anti-satellite rocket had created 400 pieces of orbital debris.

“This is unacceptable,” noted Bridenstine.

Recall, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India shot down a functioning space satellite with a special rocket. He called this action as the breakthrough “in the space program” of the country.

As The Journalist reported, India had conducted tests of anti-satellite weapons in space.
