The EU Council and the European Parliament have agreed on to visa-free Schengen access for Brits after Brexit, European truth reports.

The British citizens will not need visa for short trips (90 days within 180 days) to the Schengen zone.

The European Parliament and the EU Council should officially accept this agreement.

According to EU rules, the right to visa-free is granted on reciprocity condition.

The UK government said it did not intend to demand a visa from EU citizens traveling to their countries for a short stay.

The Commission will monitor the principle of reciprocity and immediately inform the European Parliament and the European Union Council about any events that may jeopardize this principle.

As The Journalist reported, the UK will increase the cost of multiple entry visas.
