Poroshenko made important personnel changes to SBGS and SBU

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has dismissed Vasyl Servatyuk from the post of first deputy head of the State Border Service of Ukraine (SBGS).

This is stated in the presidential decree No.101 as of April 4, published on the presidential website. The reason for dismissal is not specified.

Recall that Servatyuk was appointed as the first deputy head of the State Border Guard Service on November 17, 2014.

In addition, Poroshenko appointed Vladislav Kosinskyi as the deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine after dismissing Serhiy Bazyuk from this position.

This is stated in two presidential decrees №102 and №103 as of April 4.

Bazyuk held the position of Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine from October 31, 2015; before he served as the Head of the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv Oblast.

The reason for Bazyuk’s dismissal is not specified.
