Maryinka checkpoint temporarily isn’t working after enemy shelling

As The Journalist reported, an enemy sniper fired on the Maryinka entry/exit checkpoint and wounded a Ukrainian border guard.

According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, the Maryinka and Hnutove entry / exit checkpoints, located on the demarcation line in the JFO area, temporarily are not working.

The Hnutove checkpoint was supposed to undergo a reconstruction until April 7, but it was extended until April 9.

In addition, according to the JFO commander decision, the passage of people and transport through the contact line within the Maryinka checkpoint was temporarily suspended due the threat to civilians caused by enemy shelling.

According to the SBGS, the rest checkpoints on the demarcation line began work on time and are working on schedule from April 8.
