The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has appointed James Murray’s Acting Chairman of the Regional Office of the Secret Service in Washington as the Secret Service Director, Reuters reported.

The White House said Murray will take over the duties of the head of the Secret Service in May.

Since May 2015, he served as Acting Chairman of the Regional Office of the Secret Service in Washington (subordinate to the Department of Homeland Security). Its employees are engaged in the protection of the US President and members of his family, as well as some other administration officials.

As The Journalist reported, 20 US states sue Trump over border wall.
