State Emergency Service engineer dies in grey zone in Donbas

Group of pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine died during the clearance of the territory from explosive objects in the gray zone in Donbas. As a result of the incident, one employee died, another two workers sustained injuries of varying severity. This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

An explosion occurred near the village of Zaitseve, Bakhmut area during the clearance of the territory near the water pipe of the pumping station Siversky Donets-Donbas. Chairman of the State Emergencies Service Mykola Chechetkin said that as a result of the incident, Petty Officer of the Civil Protection Oleh Boitsov (born in 1979) died. In addition, the Senior Lieutenant of the Civil Protection Dmitry Slepkan (born in 1994) and the Staff Sergeant of the Civil Protection Yevhen Bezkorovainy (born in 1992) were wounded.
