Since April 30, 2018, the Ukrainian military have managed to take under control 20 square km of occupied territories, BBC News Ukraine reports.
Commander General of the Joint Forces operation, Serhiy Nayev, said that during the JFO operation, a number of territories were taken under control. The military managed to improve the situation in some areas from two to five kilometers.
In general, the whole territory, which Ukrainian army have managed to return under control of Ukraine, is almost 20 square kilometers.
As The Journalist reported, the servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had repelled militants assault in JFO area.
