Boeing tested updated MCAS software on 737 MAX aircraft

On April 17, Boeing completed the last technical test of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft before certification for its software update, the director of the corporation Dennis Muilenburg announced on Twitter.

According to Muilenburg, the pilots conducted 120 test flights with a total duration of over 200 flight hours, using updated Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS), which failure caused 737 MAX Boeing crash in Ethiopia.

As The Journalist reported, Boeing promises to update 737 MAX software by the end of the month.
