On April 21, militants two times violated the cease-fire regime, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action, the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook.
In particular, occupiers attacked Ukrainian positions near the settlement of Ekaterynivka, using automatic grenade launchers, small arms and sniper weapons.
“As a result of the shelling, one member of the Joint Forces received combat-related injuries. Units of the Joint Forces conducted an active defense and gave an adequateresponse to the enemy’s provocations,” the report says.
Militants also shelled Ukrainian positions near boundary line in vicinity of Stanytsa Luhanska settlement: Ukrainian units did not open fire in response.
According to intelligence data, on April 21 one occupier was killed, another three were wounded.
