“After the presidential elections, scheduled parliamentary elections will be held in October 2019. These elections will determine what the new parliamentary majority, the new government will be,” Burbak said.

The parliamentarian stressed that it will depend on the elections to the Verkhovna Rada whether Ukraine will continue to pursue a policy of acquiring membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union and strengthening itself.

“Equally important will be the constructive cooperation of the newly elected president with the parliament, coalition and government. Another six months before the election to Verkhovna Rada. Soon, the new head of state should announce its agenda – how the president, the government and parliament will work together and lead the country to success,” Burbak added.
