Ukraine will supply 120 mm anti-tank laser guided missiles “Konus”, developed and produced by the “State Kyiv Design Bureau “Luch”, to Turkey. This is reported by the press service of the Ukrainian state enterprise Spetstekhnoeksport.
The company signed a contract with the Turkish state corporation with the Turkish state corporation “Makina ve Kimya Endüstrisi Kurumu” (“MKEK”) at the international defense exhibition IDEF2019, held in Istanbul.
The contract provides for the supply 120 mm guided missiles “Konus”. In addition, supplies of guidance devices are provided for their further integration for Turkish main battle tanks.
It is expected that thanks to the cooperation with MKEK, Ukraine will be able to increase her presence in other markets – in the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
