European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has set the date for the public hearing in the case of Ukraine v. Russia (the Crimea) on September 11, 2019.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Justice – Commissioner for ECHR Affairs Ivan Lishchyna.
“The Secretariat of the Commissioner for the ECHR received a letter, which we have been waiting for since February of this year. The court hearing on the acceptability of 20958/14 (in the Crimea) is scheduled for September 11, 2019. We hold fists and crossed fingers to make it happen this time,” he said.
As the “Journalist” reported, relatives of Heroes of Heavenly hundreds will sue the ECHR because of the unwillingness of the authorities to investigate the killings.
