The US Department of Transportation has decided to suspend all commercial passenger and cargo flights between the United States and Venezuela. The reason for this decision were reports about riots and violence at airports in the South American country, Reuters reported.

Laser Airlines said it will maintain service in the United States through a transition in the Dominican Republic. Laser Airlines announced on Twitter that it would continue to offer two flights between Miami and Caracas every day with intermediate landings in Santo Domingo.

Many international airlines have suspended flights to Venezuela in connection with security problems and disputes over money that the Venezuela government owed them.

Recall that United States Senator Rick Scott suggested that the US authorities examine the use of military force to deliver humanitarian aid to Venezuela.

As The Journalist reported, the security forces blocked the parliament in Venezuela.
