On May 26, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated that if the Verkhovna Rada would adopt his resignation letter, he would continue to work in his post until the new government will be formed.

He reported about it on air of ICTV channel, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“Parliament must consider my resignation letter, and I will ask the Verkhovna Rada to satisfy it. After the parliament accepts my resignation, I will continue to work as Prime Minister until the creation of a new government according to the Constitution and laws. All the ministers continue to work as well,” the prime minister said.

Groysman assured that after the Verkhovna Rada decision he, as head of the government, would not even have the “acting head” prefix.

“If before that [the resignation of Groisman – ed.] we worked as planned, then, obviously, we are now moving into an anti-crisis regime,” the premier added.

As The Journalist reported, Kolomoiskiy proposed Zelensky to declare default on foreign debt.
