The Head of the government of Ukraine, Volodymyr Groysman, said that he is running in parliamentary elections independently with his political force “Ukrainian strategy”, and does not unite with anyone.
“For me, participation in elections is not just a desire to participate in elections. I have a clear view at what can make Ukraine and Ukrainians stronger. And I think that these steps should be implemented,” Interfax-Ukraine quotes Groysman, as saying.
According to the prime minister, he “will independently run for parliamentary elections with his political power, with a team of people whom he considers quite young, energetic, professional”.
Commenting on the possible association with the party of Petro Poroshenko, Groysman said: “There were such proposals, and many politicians spoke among themselves about different possibilities. I made a decision – I will go on my own and this decision is final for me. I think we are different.”
As The Journalist reported, Saakashvili is returning to Ukraine.
