The first deputy leader of the BPP faction, Igor Kononenko, decided to leave the party of Petro Poroshenko.
About this Kononenko reported on Facebook.
“I see my mission in giving opportunity to young patriots to take a more active part in the development of the country. Therefore, I decided to free my place in the party list to new politicians, whose biography will be written on a clean sheet, not tainted in a hybrid information war. I also want to give the opportunity to young party members to express themselves, so I leave party posts – this is my personal contribution to the creation of “social lift” in Ukraine,” wrote Kononenko.
The parliamentarian noted that he remains a supporter of the European and Euro-Atlantic way of development of the country, so he will do everything in his power to protect the choice of the Ukrainian people.
Kononenko also expressed confidence that the future of Ukraine is tied to the EU and NATO.
As The Journalist reported, Granovskiy left BPP faction.
