Ukraine’s parliament does not accept PM Groysman’s resignation

The Verkhovna Rada has not backed the resignation of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, Ukrinform reports.

Only 97 Members of Parliament voted in favor of the Prime Minister’s resignation, as 63 voted against and 50 deputies abstained,” the message said.

Recall that, according to the legislation of Ukraine, the resignation of the Prime Minister entails the resignation of the entire Cabinet of Ministers.

As The Journalist reported, Igor Kononenko noted that the BPP faction had decided not to support the Groysman resignation.
