CEC registered first foreign observers for Ukraine’s parliamentary elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has registered the first official observers from international organizations for the special elections to the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s Parliament, scheduled on July 21.

The Central Election Commission registered one international observer from the World Congress of Ukrainians and nine from the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations ENEMO at the meeting on the eve of June 4.

Thus, the CEC registered 10 international observers as of June 4.

In addition, the CEC registered 32 candidates for people’s deputies to participate in early elections on July 21.

As The Journalist reported, CEC allocated about UAH 25 mln for preparation and conducting local elections on June 30.
