Lev Partskhaladze to offer the president AP construction within urban industrial zone

Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of Ukraine Lev Partskhaladze believes that the so-called “government and business quarter” should be created on the territory of the Kyiv “Telychka” industrial zone, as Interfax –Ukraine reports.
Partskhaladze plans to offer the President to build the Presidential Administration on the territory of the Kyiv industrial zone “Telychka” with an area of about 100 hectares.
“We will definitely offer it. I believe that this should be a symbol of changes in the country”, the deputy minister noted. Since 2003 I have had an idea to construct the so-called Kyiv City on the site of Telychka, like the city of skyscrapers like a bypass road in Paris and to move there 1 million sq. meters of administrative premises. To make the so-called government and business district, sell the vacated premises in the city center for example, for hotels, cultural centers, housing perhaps. What will happen? The city center will become more comfortable, there will be much less traffic jams on the way to work and back, it will be a push for tourism development”, said Partskhaladze.
