The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has agreed on the UAPAY domestic payment system rules and entered the relevant information into the Register of payment systems, billing systems, participants of these systems and operators of payment infrastructure services.
As stated on the NBU’s website, the UAPAY payment organization system is FC UAPAY (Kyiv).
“UAPAY payment system has become the eleventh domestic payment system on the Ukrainian market, created by non-bank institutions,” the report says.
As The Journalist reported, the National Bank continue to study e-hryvnia as alternative to retail payments.
